Is it just me, or do you also just love not really having plans for over the weekend? Don't get me wrong, I do love plans, it's just sometimes when you "wing" your weekend, it's nice to not think of everything I have to do.
Friday night was a relaxing night. We had homemade pizza and watched a movie. A low key night that ended with me in bed by 8:30 PM, which I am more than OK with!!
Saturday it was still in the air if Andy had to work or not. We spent the morning cleaning the house a bit and then just relaxing until he went in a 2 PM. (Yes, he had to go in....bummer!!) I spent the rest of the day with my mama. We shopped at Target (like that's surprising there....haha!), ate dinner together and her and my dad came over and watched a movie. We watched "Captain Phillips". It really was a great movie. Also, we did stop by Target for a second time that day because my mom and I had the song "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" stuck in our head alllllll dayyyyyyy long! So to remedy that situation, we went out and purchased the soundtrack to actually learn all the words....HAHA! It is now my "go-to" CD in the car. Andy didn't end up getting home from work until 3:30 AM Sunday morning. :(
Sunday we spent the morning relaxing once again. I let Andy sleep in (obviously since he got in so late) and he woke up around 11 AM. We went out for a bit. Went to Kohl's to spend our $20 in Kohl's cash that we earned 2 weeks ago. We had the hardest time spending that dang $20 dollars.....We ended up getting me a black robe. Pretty boring but I thought it would come in handy when I am in the hospital. We went to Home Depot to pick out baby room colors. I think I finally have the color scheme down that I want to do. We also went grocery shopping...so not fun!
Speaking of baby room, I found out that Andy is willing to make one of the walls in the baby room in chevron stripes!!!!!! I am soooooo excited about this because I never thought he would agree to that! Now I just need to nail down the official colors of the room and we can get started on the room! One of my many baby website apps on my phone told me yesterday, "Now that your baby room is ready to go, it's time to start on furniture..." Say what!?!!! Most people don't even know what they are having at 15 weeks..... Our awesome neighbors have been willing to help Andy with the chevron stripes in the room. Also our neighbors have a "sticker printer". You know like those words or designs that you can put on walls and everything!?!!! Hello ideas for baby room and all around the house!! HAHA!!
OK, that's about it for the weekend, how about some photos from the weekend. :)
