Today marks my husband's 30th birthday, or as is the words of him 29+1 because turning 30 to him is just weird.  He told me yesterday, "a third of my life is over"....insert pregnant hormonal wife who get's sad that he said that.  LOL!  I honestly have no idea what we are going to do tonight for him because he won't decide at this moment.  I want to take him to dinner somewhere but I am not choosing because it's not my birthday.  His choice and I have NO say on where we go.  I know he wants to get a good beer or two and quite frankly he deserves it. He has had to work the last 2 weekends and has been on call since last Friday with alerts that have been going off non-stop.  Shoot, if he wanted 4 beers, I'd let him!  :)

When Andy and I first started talking it all started with Facebook.  We actually worked together at Best Buy back in 2006 and lost touch after we both quit there.  I wouldn't say we were friends working there either, he was just a guy I worked with.  He worked in the Geek Squad and I was a Front End Senior who would be over in the same area as the Geek Squad and Customer Service.  In 2009 I think I friended him and we started to chat every once in awhile on facebook messanger.  Our first hang out or "date" was on  August 23rd, 2006.  You know how I know that exact date?  Because it was a Sunday and I had just gotten back from the lake and Andy was going to take me to see "The Hangover" and to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings (his favorite). While we were hanging out I had found out that his birthday was the following Saturday, the 29th and had NO plans that day.....what!?!!  No plans for a birthday is not an option.  So I told him we are celebrating his birthday, no if, and's or but's about it.  :)  We decided on us and our friends getting together at Fast Eddie's.  Eating good food and drinking is something he thought sounded fun.  That night of the 29th we had a lot of fun and I even got some fun photos of him and I tipsy (which is a rarity for me since I don't like to drink).

I would like to say that the rest is history, but it wasn't.  I went to Vegas about a week later and the day came home he broke my heart by saying he didn't want a girlfriend, he wanted to concentrate on school, blah blah blah.  Literally broke my heart....BUT I decided on calling him 5 days later to see if he wanted to be friends (SUCKER) and right there the rest is history.  :) I will give myself a pat on the back for that one.  HAHA!!

I don't give him a lot of credit for what he does, but he really does deserve a lot of credit.  We have a relationship that was built on trust (never lie to one another) and we both help each other out around the house.  Just because the lawn is "a man's work" doesn't mean I can't help cut the lawn and just because laundry is "a woman's duty" doesn't mean he can't help me with it.  He will do the dishes, he will make dinner if I have no desire to (which is most of the time since I've become pregnant).  He puts up with my crazy, emotional state and knows that I need a lot of reassurance in that he won't leave me.  Never once has he made me feel like I am not wanted by him.  We do fight (what couple doesn't) but we still work things out and get through those issues.  Last year when we lost our first pregnancy, he was such a strong rock in my life and I never thought we would have had to go through what he did.  It made me fall in love with him all over again and I will never forget how great he was through it all.  I could have easily slipped into depression after the loss, but he is what took me from being depressed to being ok with what happened because everything happens for a reason.

Sometime in the next 2 weeks we will become parents and are taking the next step in our relationship.  I have NO doubt in his abilities in being a Father and know that he will do an amazing job in helping raise our son.

So HAPPY BIRTHDAY Andrew!  You are the most important person in my life and I thank god everyday that he brought us together.  Without you, I don't know where I would be today.  I love you with all my heart!

Bump Date - 38 Weeks

How far along: 38 Weeks!!
14 days to go till my due date!

Baby Size: The size of a leek, weighs around 6.75 pounds, and is a bit more than 19 1/2 inches long.

Weight gain:  12 pounds
Maternity clothes: mostly all maternity, nothing new here.  Starting to miss my "normal" clothes....

Stretch marks: just at the bottom of my belly
Sleep: so so, just depends on the day (this never changes)
Gender: Baby BOY!!

Movement: all the time, doesn't matter as much what time of the day it is!  Sometimes the movement really hurts too

Best moment this week: doctor appointment once again, but I'm really ready for the BEST moment when he is finally here!
Looking forward to: HAVING THIS BABY!!

Food cravings: nothing because nothing sounds good.  My appetite is gone, nothing sounds good and I am pretty much forcing myself to eat just to eat.
Anything making you queasy or sick: just no appetite
Labor Signs: some braxton hicks, some real contractions, lower back pain
What I miss: feeling him move around, sometimes it hurts, but other times it's kinda cool because I am the only person who can really feel him move around.
Nursery: DONE!!!!  Just need to get those photos taken and then show you all the nursery once he arrives!  If you all haven't noticed, I haven't announced his name at all and I did that on purpose.  Once he is born, you all will get to know his name. :)

Belly Button in or out? flat with my stomach

Wedding rings on or off? On!

Mood: cranky, sleepy, irritated, emotional, anxious, stick a fork in me, I am done being pregnant.....(nothing new)

  • 14 days....THANK GOD!
  • Seriously though, I am ready to be done with being pregnant.  I am exhausted, cranky, tired, hurting, and just am ready to meet this baby boy!
  • I would be SO rich if I collected a nickel for everyone who has the following conversation with me: (ps, I have this conversation every morning with every single one of my co-workers....)
    • Hi Jessica, how are you?
    • Oh I'm good, just tired and ready to have this baby.
    • He will be here before you know it.  Just let him cook a little longer.
    • ....
  • Please stop telling me when I should and shouldn't have my baby....I realize the longer I wait to have him, the better, but I am ready to have him and he will be OK if I have him early.
  • Come on water, just break for me!!
  • My doctor said he would induce labor at 39 weeks.  It's a tempting choice that I probably won't choose.  If I did choose that, that would be NEXT WEEK!!
  • How do you choose your induction date??  That's just so weird to think about....
  • I know that if haven't had this baby by September 11th (the due date) that I will choose the induction for no later than September 15th.
  • My yoga ball is my best friend right now.  I have one at work and one at home and spend a good 2-4 hours a day on it.  :)

Day in the Life of Me! (Before Baby)

I keep seeing these float around all over the "blogosphere" and thought I should do one of these before baby, during maternity leave and then after maternity leave and back at being a working mommy!

Tuesday, 8/26/2014

5:20am - I roll myself out of the bed and into the bathroom. Keeley follows me into the bathroom and lies down in my closet while I shower.  Smokey sometimes graces us with his presence in the bathroom and other times I shut him out of the bedroom.  If I don't shut the door with the cat either in the bathroom or in the hallway, he will continue to meow and it will make Andy disgruntled.  I don't blame him though, who wants to listen to a cat meow for a good 40 minutes.... Today Smokey decided to be with Keeley and I in the bathroom.

5:50am - Andy normally gets up and starts to get ready for work, today however; he get's to work from home.  So, it's just me and the animals.

5:55am - I pack a bag of "In case my water breaks" clothes.  It includes a t-shirt, comfy shorts, underwear, a couple pads and a waterproof pad to put down on the car seat for me to drive me to home or pick up Andy from work.

6am - I am dressed and walking downstairs with Keeley and Smokey.  Smokey gets fed first and then Keeley gets to go outside and go potty.  I then pack my lunch, get breakfast assembled for work, put some fruit in a bowl (today is apple slices) so I can eat it in the car and get a cup of water all ready to go.

6:10am - I take Keeley outside one more time before I leave.  While she is doing her business, I am loading the car up with my purse and work bag.

6:15am - I leave the house and head towards work.  If Andy is with me, I drop him off first and then head to my work.  He normally gets dropped off at 6:40am and then I get to work right at 7am.

7am - I clock in at work.  I then check my mailbox for any paperwork and head upstairs to my office.  I start my day off with sitting on my yoga ball and bounce till about 8am.  I check my email and start to work on whatever is on my "list".

7:30am - snack time because the apples don't hold me off for very long.  Today's breakfast snack is Special K's Pastry Crisps in "Berry Streusel"

12pm - Lunchtime!  Today I needed to get out to get gas in the orange car and then to CVS to get some more BB cream.  I love the BB cream for the days where you want some makeup on, but you don't want to feel like you have a ton on.

1pm - 3:30pm - More work and phone calls and putting out fires or taking care of something that someone needs like yesterday

3:30pm - I leave work and head home.  If it's a day of Andy and I carpooling, then I go to his work, get him around 3:45pm and we get home around 4:30(ish)

4:10pm - I am home.  Keeley heard me pull up in the driveway and was super excited, so Andy let her out and she was jumping up on me and whining.  She loves me, what can I say?

4:30pm - I am on the couch.  I am having some contractions and am plain exhausted.  Andy and I decide to watch an episode of "Undercover Boss".  My eyelids begin to open and close throughout the entire episode.

5:45pm - I finally decide to get off the couch, change out of my dress and into comfy clothes. We are headed over to Andy's parents house because Andy's grandpa came in town the night before.

6pm - We are on the road with Keeley in the backseat.  I finally settle on stopping at Burger King for dinner......nothing sounds good and I needed to eat something.  It wasn't very good if you were wondering.

Happy National Dog Day to my favorite girl!
Andy went inside to get us Burger King and Keeley watched until he came out of the restaurant.

6:30(ish)pm - We arrive at Andy's parents house.  Keeley is excited to see everyone and their dog Shadow.  We spend the time just talking and hanging out.  Keeley and Shadow play for a bit too.

8pm - I am pooped and ready to go.  I start to feel really crummy again.  My lower back is killing me and my stomach is turning.  If someone offered me ice cream right then and there, I would have denied you. (Ice cream is my kryptonite....)

8:30pm - We are home and I decide to take a bath to help with the back pain.

9pm - I am in bed and ready for some sleep.  Keeley loves that time of evening when we say to her, "Let's go to bed".  Andy has to work a little bit from home, so Keeley takes his place in bed.  She loves lying there when he is not there.  She's my little protector.

9:30pm - The phone is turned off and I turn over to fall asleep.  It does not take me long at all to fall asleep.

2014 Emmy's

Oh how I love award shows!  The Emmy's were on last night and I was pumped to watch them.  I really had my bet that Breaking Bad was going to win a lot of the awards (which they did) and I thought that Orange is the New Black should have won, but it didn't.  Sometimes it's really aggravating to see that same person or show win time after time (*COUGH, Modern Family) and the (what seems like) bajillion awards to mini-series is kind of annoying too.  I am so very happy that Jim Parson's won for Big Bang Theory though!  I think it is well deserved. The best part about any awards show though, is the dresses from the ladies.  Normally my sister and I text each other during the pre-show and say what we like and don't like, but last night she was busy.  So here are my favorite dresses from the night:

In the end, I'd have to say that the Emmy's were pretty entertaining and I laughed several times at the funny stuff.  The tribute to Robin Williams was really moving and I thought it was a perfect way to memorialize him.

"Last Week" of Summer

Can you all believe that summer is almost over and Labor Day weekend starts in just 4 days (not counting today)?? It seriously boggles my mind that summer is almost over, we go into the fall season and I will be having a baby really any day now. Seriously though, I'm ready to have this baby....this pregnancy thing is starting to get old. The back aches, the upset stomach, the random cramps and jolts of pain, and the wondering of when our little man will be here is just taking a toll on me.

My weekend was fine, nothing too eventful or thrilling, which is fine by me. Friday night Andy and I went out of dinner and I made him stop by Taco Bell on the way home just for a Dr Pepper Vanilla Float slushie. Weird? Probably, but I don't care, it was delicious.
We also stopped by Walmart that night. I wanted to look for some cheapy receiving blankets. Reason being, I wanted the baby to use 2 of them and then for Andy to bring a blanket home for Smokey and Keeley do they can get use to his scent before we arrive home. I wanted cheapy blankets because if they year them up then I wouldn't be mad. Of course, being the hormonal pregnant girl that I am, I couldn't decide on a pack of blankets and walked out empty handed.

Saturday was a day of cleaning around the house. My stamina and energy are pretty much non-existent right now.  I did manage to get our clothes washed, a load of towels done, and some new baby clothes washes!  Success!!  I also did some other cleaning up around the house, but I just can't remember it all, and lets be honest, you all don't care.  :)  Andy and his dad were able to get a couple random things done around our house, including hanging the photo frames and hanging the baby monitor!!  That means that the baby room is complete and I need to get photos ASAP before he is here and his room is no longer in "new" status.  LOL!

Sunday I went out with my mama to Babies R Us for my more than likely final run before baby!  I really wanted to head to Target, but the thought of walking around another store didn't sound so fun.  My brother Jack is back at Mizzou for his second year and we were driving his car around yesterday.  He doesn't like to drive at Mizzou so that's why we had his car.  My mom thought she was being helpful by telling me what house is hers, so me being a smart-alack, I parked the car crooked in her driveway so her neighbors thought she was weird.  She went inside to grab something and that is when I turned the car even more crooked in the driveway.  I made my sister get out and take a photo.  She died laughing when she walked out of the garage.

Andy and his dad were able to get the cat door in our basement door so that Smokey is able to go downstairs to use the litter box without us having the door constantly cracked open.  He's not to sure about the flap he has to use to go in and out of the door, so right now that's rigged up with yarn tied to it and the door handle.  So far he's doing good with it and he thinks he's extra sneaky with the garage door opening.

That evening we went to dinner with our neighbors and then Andy and I watched the VMA's. Let's sum up the VMA's with one word, shall we?  BORING!!!!  I even stayed up to see Beyonce performed and I was SO BORED!  Where were her classic songs?  Where was Destiny's Child??

I'd like to share the other photos I took from the weekend.  Warning, they are mostly photos of the fur-babies....LOL!
This is how I have to drive home from work now....been this way for several weeks.  After sitting in my office chair all day long, my back hurts and the baby is kicking so it helps to put pressure there.  I don't know why.

I started up the yoga ball sitting at work and at home....come on baby boy!!

Andy got a Guinness shake with his dinner on Friday night.  He was in heaven.  I really wanted to try a sip of it, but I didn't  That's where the Taco Bell slushie came in.  :)

Keeley got a new squeeky toy and she was SOOOO excited for it!
We have one more new squeeky toy hidden away until we bring the baby home.  Yep, I'm bribing the animals....

Mirror, Carseat protector and base are installed!!

Me and the Keeleys Saturday morning!

After my shower Saturday morning, I was too tired to do my hair so I left it in the towel and laid down in bed with Keeley.  She didn't mind one bit!

Smokey has come and cuddled with me for the past 2 mornings!!  I missed his cuddles!

Keeley is ready for bed on Sunday night.

Smokey hanging out on his chair in the kitchen, watching the birdies fly by.

Smokey is "helping" me fold the towels.  Well more like holding them down.  :)

Bump Date - 37 Weeks!

How far along: 37 Weeks!!
21 days to go till my due date!

Baby Size: The size of a swiss chard, weighs around 6 1/3 pounds, and is a bit more than 19 inches long.

Weight gain:  12 pounds
(lost 2 pounds from last week, doctor's office confirmed as well)

Maternity clothes: mostly all maternity, nothing new here

Stretch marks: finding more stretch marks at the bottom of my belly.  He is totally dropping everyday, it is very obvious!
Sleep: so so, just depends on the day
Gender: Baby BOY!!

Movement: all the time, doesn't matter as much what time of the day it is!  Sometimes the movement really hurts too

Best moment this week: the weekly doctor appointment I guess....I mean its always great to hear that heartbeat and to know that he is growing on track and that I'm progressing more, but the actual process of being checked for progression, not so fun.  LOL!  I guess I should just prepare myself for more, not so fun moments until he is born because it's going to get worse :)
Looking forward to: baby boy to be here!!!

Food cravings: McDonalds......Tuesday I went for lunch and got a cheeseburger, medium fry and iced tea (WORTH IT!!!)
Anything making you queasy or sick: just feeling really full and its getting hard to eat with the baby growing more and more everyday
Labor Signs: some braxton hicks,  lots of pain in my ribs/stomach region (it feels like it is all bruised in the inside), back pain, exhaustion, nesting
What I miss: not feeling like I got the crap kicked out of hurts to breathe and cough.
Symptoms: read whiny moments

Nursery: just finish the frames and we are good to go for the nursery.  Obviously they are not important to bring the baby home too, but it's good to get it done before he is here.  We set the pack n play up in our room on Saturday but I am not sure where I want him to sleep when we bring him home.  So if he isn't sleeping in our room, then he's going to the crib and the pack n play goes downstairs.  :)

Belly Button in or out? flat with my stomach

Wedding rings on or off? On!

Mood: cranky, sleepy, irritated, emotional, anxious.....

  • 21 days....OMG!
  • I am ready for him to be here!  Let's go Baby Boy!!
  • The bags packing department is getting better!  In fact, I am ready to go at the moment. There are some things that I need to pack, but that will be something I will have to do at that moment that we need to leave for the hospital.  So we should be good to go. Although, I just remembered, I need to find that robe I purchased a couple months ago.....
  • I tested positive for Group B Strep which means I won't be able to labor at home for as long as I'd like, which is kind of a bummer.  But whatever is the safest for me and baby is all I really care about!
  • I'm back to losing weight and I'm not really surprised.  This baby feels so big inside me and there isn't much room for food and sometimes it's hard to breathe.  3 weeks feels like an eternity when you are having chest pain.
  • Doctor isn't concerned with weight loss either, they say it can be normal in the 3rd trimester because you just don't have a lot of room for food.
  • I'm really going to miss this "rock hard" belly!  I am not a tight shirt wearing kind of girl because of my self-consciousness, but this pregnancy has been fantastic because I don't feel self-conscious.  Back to the flab, but then I can stare at a cute baby, so it's a good trade off.  :)

Trying to keep it together

Oh my....I really am trying to keep it all together.  My due date is fast approaching, 22 days, and I am starting to freak out.  I am trying to keep everything in order at work and get our new girl trained as best as possible.  Then I try to get some things done, but every night before I leave, I have to send what I am in the middle of to my boss and our new girl so that I don't leave them in a lurch if I go into labor that night or over the weekend.  My boss is convinced that I am going to go into labor any day now.  In fact, she didn't think I would make it to payroll on Monday because I would be having the baby over the weekend.  Well now its Wednesday and still no baby.

My sleep has been erratic and making me mostly exhausted because I just feel like I don't get enough, guess I really need to get use to it since I am not sleeping hardly at all once baby arrives.  I have been in such pain lately in my chest/rib cage area.  It's started on Monday and today it's worse than ever.  Just taking in a deep breathe hurts.

The media is really making me mad lately also.  I am a news reader on the internet and read what's going on in our world at least once daily.  In the last 2 weeks, I think I've gotten on a news source maybe once.  The issues in St. Louis are big ones and it's really irritating to read all these lies, fabrications and constant coverage as to what is going on in Ferguson.

Facebook is another media source that I am just getting plain tired of.  I am thiiiiiiiiiiis close to just deleting my account and stepping away from it.  There is always drama on there, someone is always complaining on there and it's a BIG source of negativity.  I know it's also a great resource of staying in touch with out of town relatives and friends, but the other drama is just making it hard for me to get on there.  Maybe I will just delete the app from my phone until the baby is born? I just don't know anymore.

I know there is a lot of complaining and whining on here today and I have been absent lately, but this is the reason why I haven't been blogging lately.  I have tons of ideas on what to blog about, it's just getting the motivation to get my posts posted.

Today is my 37 week appointment and tomorrow I will be back for Baby Bump - Week 37 to update you all!

Bump Date - 36 Weeks

How far along: 36 Weeks!!
27 days to go till my due date!

Baby Size: The size of a head of romaine lettuce, weighs almost 6 pounds, and is more than 18 1/2 inches long.

Weight gain:  14 pounds

Maternity clothes: mostly all maternity, nothing new here

Stretch marks: found my first stretch marks at the bottom of my belly, which makes sense because the baby is head down and he is starting to drop. I find those stretch marks a badge of honor :)
Sleep: not so great lately, going to attempt some Tylenol PM this weekend so that I can get a good nights sleep.  Last weekends sleep was just plain awful and it's really killing me this week
Gender: Baby BOY!!

Movement: all the time when I lie down for bed and then when my alarm goes off in the morning.  It's like little man is just so excited for me to go to sleep and then wake up.  Dance party!  LOL!

Best moment this week: my 36 week doctor appointment yesterday!  Baby is head down and ready to go!  I am 1 cm dilated and showing signs that he is ready to come soon!
Looking forward to: the breastfeeding class tonight, I'm interested to see if I learn anything else different than I already have from books and the internet

Food cravings: last night my dinner was Pillsbury Orange Rolls....and they were DELICIOUS!!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I've been waking up in the mornings feeling a little sick to my stomach again (like I did in the first trimester, but not so bad)
Labor Signs: some braxton hicks but nothing to be too concerned
What I miss: my energy and sleeping on my stomach
Symptoms: all the same as it's been

Nursery: need to finish those frames, get a changing pad cover and some other assorted items and then I should be done!

Belly Button in or out? flat with my stomach

Wedding rings on or off? On!

Mood: sleepy and tired

  • I am OFFICIALLY 9 months pregnant!  Holy cow!  It's been a long road to get here, but I am glad to be here and am ready to meet him!
  • I am the oldest of my family and my mom had me at 37 weeks.  You guys, that's next week if it were me......OMG!
  • I started to pack my hospital bag, but that doesn't mean I got very far in the packing department
  • I also need to pack a "in case my water breaks at work" bag with some extra clothes, some pads and something to put on the car seat when I have to drive to get Andy at work or drive home.
  • Why do nursing bras and tank tops have to cost so much?
  • Next Thursday I am going to this big consignment sale that is being hosted in my area and I am curious to see if I can find any good deals.

So much to say and then my mind goes blank....

I live in St. Louis, so if you follow the news you know what us St. Louisian's are dealing with right now.  I don't want to give out my opinions on what is happening but I do want to mention how scary it can be lately.  I don't live that close to where the shooting happened or the rioting, but I do work near there.  Monday was kind of tense around here because we all just didn't know what was going to happen next.  Every night Facebook is all a buzz of rumors of where the next riot will take place and it creates more tension.  I am hoping that the rumors and rioting dies down because it's just not a fun feeling to live this way.

Robin Williams passing is another sad subject.  Andy and I were watching TV when I read of Facebook that he had passed.  I realize that I had never met him but to hear that he was dealing with depression really hits hard.  I hear someone say that "He never did anything for people to hate him", which is true.  He was big in touring with the USO and going to Children's Hospitals and cheering kiddos up.  I will forever know him as "Genie" in "Aladdin".  The tweet that the Motion Picture Academy's posted on Monday night just really hits your heart. In fact, I have little tears in my eyes just thinking about the resemblance of this quote from the movie to Robin and his battle with depression.

Exhaustion has really started to hit me hard the past several days.  Up until last weekend, I was sleeping great, but now it's hit and miss.  I can tell that I am getting towards the end of this pregnancy.  Today is my 36 week checkup and from here on out I see the doctor every week. It's getting to be crunch time for baby and I really don't know what to think of it all.  Not that I am not happy, it's just surreal that he will be here in a month or so!

Ok, that's about where I will stop for now.  Until tomorrow when I am back with my 36 Week Bump Date!!  :)

Half Day Friday!!

There is nothing like the feeling of working a half day on a Friday.  Ok, well really the best feeling is the entire day off, but the next best thing is only working a half day!  :)

Today is our last baby shower to celebrate this little boy.  It is being thrown by Andy's work and I am excited for it!  I'm also a little nervous just because I won't really know anyone there besides Andy, but it will be good.

With the thought of my last baby shower and it is Friday, that means that it's another week down and another week closer to meeting our little guy.  Not going to lie, insert panic for a brief second.  Ok, back to breathing again.  I just cannot believe that these last 35 weeks have flown by and we are so close to meeting him!  We took a tour of the hospital Tuesday after work and it made me feel a little better seeing the rooms and where I would be delivering at.  Andy felt way better knowing where we were and the layout of the hospital.  This hospital is a bit A LOT smaller than the original hospital I was going to deliver at.

I still need to pack a hospital bag.  In fact, I am going to make that a priority to get done this weekend.  Obviously I cannot pack everything right now, but at least I will have some things ready to go.  I still don't have a "going home" outfit that I want him to wear home yet either.  It's tough because I just don't know how big or how small he will be.  I have some newborn outfits and some 3 month outfits so I will probably bring a size of each.

Andy and I have been really concentrating on completing our "List of Stuff To Do Before Baby Arrives".  It had been sitting on our dry erase board for weeks and finally we started working on it last weekend.  I plan on posting next week about what we've accomplished and what else needs to be done.  :)

Dinners in our house have been pretty pathetic lately.....sorry Andy.  Last night we had grilled cheese and tomato soup (its was a rainy, dreary day), the night before was a whatever night.  I really want to get back into cooking, but the energy and desire just isn't there.

Smokey and Keeley are doing good.  Smokey is in LOVE with the glider/recliner in the baby room and thinks it's his.  Sadly he is mistaken.  But he is more than welcome in keeping the glider warm for me when I am not using it to feed the baby.  Keeley is dealing with allergies once again.  We really thought we figured them out with changing her food and not seeing her scratch and bite her paws for a good 7 months and now we are back to her scratching and itching once again.  I really wish there was something we could do besides giving her medicine all the time.  We give her a bath once a week to try to help get whatever it is that is bothering her off her fur and skin.

This weekend we will be celebrating my niece's 3rd birthday on Sunday and I am so excited to see her and Jackson.  Jackson started his first day of Kindergarten on Wednesday and LOVED it!  I can't wait to hear all about it from him.

Well that should catch you all up with me for now.  Until Monday, I wish you all A GREAT WEEKEND!!

Bump Date - 35 Weeks

How far along: 35 Weeks!!
35 days to go till my due date!

Baby Size: The size of a honeydew melon, weighs a little over 5.25 pounds , and is over 18 inches long.

Weight gain:  13-14 pounds (I fluctuate between both)

Maternity clothes: mostly all maternity.  I can still wear my favorite comfy/workout shorts from pre-pregnancy but I can tell that they are getting smaller around my waist.  I am realllllllly hoping that they will last until I am due because they are my favorite thing to wear on the weekends with a tank top.

Stretch marks: nothing new that I can see :)
Sleep: getting up several times a night to use the restroom, sleeping ok most nights.  I use to go to bed at Grandma time (between 830 and 930) and now its around 10pm and I am paying for it.  Maybe it's because my body is making me get use to not sleeping once he is here.  ;)
Gender: Baby BOY!!

Movement: All the time and loving it!  When I use to read other bump dates and people would say around this time that the movement would hurt sometimes, I would look at that comment like those people are crazy.  Now, I GET IT!  Sometimes I feel like his foot is going to rip through my skin and other times the foot in the rib is painful!!  You have to push back a little bit because of the odd pain.

Best moment this week: nothing that I can think of
Looking forward to: my fourth and final baby shower at Andy's work on Friday!  Then comes to the organizing the room and finding out what else I will need for baby boy!

Food cravings: NOTHING sounds good and it's really getting old.....I am still liking the iced tea, but am trying to keep my craving of tea at bay because of the caffeine.
Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing, just not really an appetite (like it's been the entire pregnancy)
Labor Signs: None, let's keep it this way for another 3+ weeks!
What I miss: being able to walk to the cafeteria at work without getting winded, my evening walks with Keeley, getting out of bed or the couch without being in pain, my energy, having cravings with food
Symptoms: nothing new here again, just the usual

Nursery: almost done!!  We really need to get the frames that I messed up fixed (painted) and then hung so I can show you all the nursery!

Belly Button in or out? flat with my stomach

Wedding rings on or off? On!
Mood: moody and emotional this week.
