Can I just say I love that fall banner, thanks Jenn at peasandcrayons.com!

Breakfast

Coffee (Vanilla/Caramel)
Don't you love the "Groom" cup!  I love the Tervis Tumblers and there is no reason why I cant use these cups still!  :)
For some reason this is my new thing right now and coffee tends to make my blood sugar drop about 3 hours after drinking it, so not sure if this coffee habit will stick or not.

2 Slices of Pumpkin Bread
I had a coupon and wanted to switch breakfast up a bit
Morning Snack

Chobani Pomegranate Greek Yogurt with Bear Naked Nut Cluster Crunch Cereal
(Thanks to Target for the free sample of the cereal,
I have to say, it was pretty delicious and would buy it again!)
Lunch
Turkey on one piece of wheat bread, green beans and a fruit cup
(A free work lunch as you can tell,  nothing wrong with that!)
Afternoon Snack
Fiber One Chewy Chocolate Oat Bar
Dinner
Half of a Hot dog from Sams and a half of slice of cheese pizza
(The new Sams opened where I live and we wanted to check it out)
(P.S., normally their food is good, but tonight it was blah, I hope I don't get food poisoning from the hot dog!)
Drink of Choice
Water at lunch
Diet Coke for dinner.......I didn't do so well eating dinner :(

Evening Snack

Peanut Butter filled pretzels....yum!!

Today's eats were not the best of health wise, it's been a rough week.

Thankful for #6 / Fun with Twins on Monday Night!

This is a combination post of Thankful of and Fun with Twins on Monday Night!

I am thankful for my baby brother and sister, Joe and Jena.  I have watched them grow into such good kids the last 13 years and cannot wait to see what their life has in store for them.  I changed their diapers, fed them and helped them become who they are today.  There may be a big age different between us, but you would never know because we still are siblings.  Family is the most important part of life.  Love you Jena and Joe!!

Yesterday, my mom and dad took my brother Jack to the University of Missouri, Columbia campus to tour it.  My mom asked that I take my brother and sister, Joe and Jena (the twins) out to dinner to get them out of the house for a little bit.  I got to them a little later than I wanted too, 6pm but in all everything went really well.   We decided on eating at Red Robin, YUM!

I like their food, but man it is pricey after you get sodas and the meals.  Thanks to my parents for the dinner!!  :)

Whiskey River Barbecue Chicken Wrap and Fries

Jena and I split this for dessert, some cookie-ice cream-chocolate-caramel-whip cream goodness :)

Joe had a hot fudge sundae and ate the whole thing!

Joe and Jena, the twins and babies of the families! There is a 14 year and 10 month difference in age between us, but I still love them so much!

To end the night, a picture of the 3 of us!  I think its so cute!!

Funny moment of the night, I was told by Joe many, many times.  Tomorrow is election day, but more importantly, Halo 4 comes out!  Haha!  My 13 year old brother and Halo 4 is the most important thing on his mind.

When I was driving them home I asked, "Did you guys have fun"?  Jena immediately comes back with, "No!" (She was joking).  Guess she wont be invited to do that again....haha!

P.S.  Dont forget to go out and vote today!  I did my civic duty, now it's your turn!

Thankful for #4 and #5

I am thankful for my fur-babies, Smokey and Keeley.  Without them, my life would be lonely and not fun.  I love those animals with all my heart.  When I thought we had lost Mokies one day, I was a wreck.  Crying and upset, Andy went out looking for him and we ended up finding him in the basement.  I love, love, love those animals so much!  I wouldn't trade them for the world.  :)

Weekend Recap

Happy Monday!!

Here is my weekly recap of the weekend:

Friday night - Our evening was quite uneventful.....the biggest excitement was going to Lowes and finding a new Christmas rug for the front door, in the inside.  I didn't even make it inside the store and they had the Christmas rugs out there.....they saw SUCKER on my forehead.  Of course, the husband makes fun of me.  Oh well, that's me and he knows what he married, a HUGH HOLIDAY FREEK!!  :)  I had every intention on making dinner that evening, but by the time we finished at Lowes, I was exhausted (It was a really long work week).  Being the best husband Andrew is, we went to get St. Louis Bread Co. for dinner (Panera Bread for those who don't live in St. Louis).  I got my usual, 1/2 ceaser salad, 1/2 smoked turkey breast on sesame bread.  YUMMO!

Mokes is modeling the new Christmas rug for ya'll!

Saturday - Had kind of a boring day.  Spent a lot of it on the couch, but there is nothing wrong with that every once in awhile.  Attempted Walmart around lunchtime, what in the world was I thinking!?!  I did find some red fabric and green thread to make a Christmas table runner, but found no motivation to work on it.  I wish there was a closer Joann Fabrics closer to my house.  The closest one to me is only 11 miles away, but it's in a really busy location and that place is a madhouse seeing that it's the best fabric store nearby.  Best times to go to Joann's is weeknights or Saturday evenings.  Andy and his dad moved some electric outlets in our bedroom and installed some drawer shelf things.  I can post a before and after of the drawers, but not of the outlets.  Forgot to take a photo.  Sorry.   :(  We went to dinner with his mom and dad to 54th Street Grill and watched, "The Avengers".  I got lost in the movie because the only super hero movie I have seen lately was the first Iron Man, so a no go for me.

Sunday - The usual, Target and Lunch with my mama.  Lunch was at El Maguey, a Mexican restaurant but no photos.  I really need to get in the habit of taking photos!  We started Christmas shopping also, so the sister was not invited, unfortunately.  I don't think she minded too much though.   I made dinner that night for Andy and myself, turkey mini meatloafs.  You can find the recipe here.  Yet again, no photos.  What was my deal this weekend??  Turned out pretty good.  I made mashed potatoes, peas and biscuits for the meal also.

Of course, I'm showing my two favorite fur-babies in the entire world.  This is what their entire weekend consisted of.  They have such a tough life.  :)

I LOVE the color of Mokies eyes!!!  So pretty blue!
I like how Mokes looks like he is smiling in this photo.
Sweet Keeley cuddling with her mama.
Keeley is lounging on my bed while I get a shower.  Such a tough tough life.

Hope you all have a fabulous week and here's to counting down to the next weekend ;)

Thankful for #3

I am thankful for my Mama!

My mother is the most unselfish, most caring individual I have ever met.  She is the one who raised me to become the person I am today.  I don't think I can ever say enough about her.  I am so much like her and look just like her too.  Only difference between us, I have blonde hair, she has black.  I love spending lots of time with her and talking to her about any problems I am having.   I am one of five of her children, but she still makes sure to spend enough time with each of us.  I wish I could have met her mother and father (My grandparents), but I am lucky to still have her in my life.  She has given me so much.  I love her with all my heart.  I only wish that one day, I too am a great mother like her.

Thankful for #2

I am thankful for Andrew!

How can I not be thankful for my husband?!?  He is my rock and biggest supporter with anything I want to do.  I use to think that I would never find love, someone who wants to be with me.  But, here came along this guy who when I first met, was the biggest smart alack in the entire world.  He would drive me crazy at work.  Never thought that 3 years later I would fall in love with him.  He helped me get myself out of some sticky situations, even when he didn't have too.  He did it because he cared.  When I love, I love with my whole heart and he knows that and loves me for that.  He gave me the best fur-babies ever, ask my mom.  She says when she dies, she wants to be re-incarnated as an animal of mine because they are treated so well and spoiled!?!  Lord, help our kids.....haha.  He bought me a beautiful house for us to start our lives in.  He bought me a beautiful new car because mine was just not doing it anymore.  And the most important thing, he married me and gave me the MOST BEAUTIFUL WEDDING EVER!!!  I seriously had everything I wanted in our wedding.  I love him to the moon and back and will never stop loving him.

Thankful For #1

Happy November Everyone!!

Can you believe it is already November 2012!  It's hard to believe that a year ago all I could think about was getting married.  I am now married and looking forward to the new joys of life that bring me.  I am so thankful for so many things this year and every year.

I know that this is not an original idea, but I wanted to do it also.  Everyday this month I am going to blog one thing I am thankful for.

Thankful For #1

My new white iPhone 5!!!

My old phone (EVO) was really starting to drive me crazy and I called Sprint to find out how much it would be to upgrade early.  Sprint worked out a deal with me and I found an old co-worker of mine who works for a Sprint kiosk.  I didn't feel like waiting 3 weeks for my phone to come in from ordering it online, so I asked if he would keep an eye out when some came in.  On Tuesday, I got the call that a shipment came in and to come in ASAP.  HELLO LUNCH HOUR!!

I LOOOOOOOVE my new phone!  I ordered the case from here.  I just got it in the mail today and so far I like it.  Love the pink color, of course!! I know it is trivial and there are so many other things to be thankful for, but don't you all worry.  I have a whole month to show you what I am thankful for, and a lot of it will NOT be such trivial items.
