From air conditioning to turning the heat on

Monday morning means a start to a new week for me.  Today it is cloudy and looks plain dreary outside, but I am not going to let that affect my mood.  I haven't been feeling the best, probably because of the big temperature change here.  Friday we had highs in the 90's and the air conditioning was on in our house.  Saturday brought rain and a cold front our way, it was the perfect day to spend on the couch watching TV and enjoying time with each other.  Sunday came and we saw the temperatures in the 50's with lots of wind (which made it feel colder outside).

  1. I had every intention on posting on Friday on the usual "High Five for Friday", but I just couldn't get the words to come out on what else to say.  So instead I share those photos today!  :)
  2. I came home Friday after work, put my feet up on the end of the couch and began watching some more of "Private Practice".  To say I am addicted to this TV show would be an understatement.
  3. Smokey and Keeley decided to join me on the couch.  I want to say that I was eating a bowl of ice cream and they wanted in on some of that.
  4. Smokey decided to sit on my lap for a bit.
  5. Another cute photo of Smokey and I.  I apologize for the awful looking photos of me.  Once my day is done with work, the makeup is mostly gone and I am not looking my best.
  6. Saturday I woke up around 9 AM after I had a very restful nights sleep (I hate those nights of sleep, especially on a weekend night when I can sleep in).  I decided that I wanted to go get a PSL from Starbucks that morning which meant getting the hubs a White Chocolate Mocha.  I left that morning in my PJ's and a jacket (getting Starbucks from the drive thru), I didn't even put shoes on...LOL.  I pulled up to Starbucks and was number 10-15 car in line for coffee....WOW!  It was worth the wait, but am I value my time in the mornings, guess that's why I never thought the line would be so long!!
  7. After I got home from Starbucks and ate my breakfast (the not so healthy Orange Rolls from Pillbury), Keeley decided she needed a morning snuggle.  It was too cute!
  8. Here comes the cold front on Saturday!  We didn't get as much rain as I thought we were to get, but some rain is better than no rain!
  9. Saturday I also decided to get the sewing machine out!  Here Smokey decided to hoard the scraps!  He is too funny!

  1. Sewing adventures with my fur-babies!  Smokey is so nosy that he must be where I am to see what I am doing at all times.
  2. Keeley and Andy cuddling on the couch, awwww!
  3. Keeley is modeling her new crate blanket here.  I thought the blanket came out really cute!
  4. How cute is this!  Sunday night Keeley would not leave Andy alone and even put her paw up to Andy's arm.  She loves him!
  5. Here is Smokey cuddling with me Sunday night on the couch.  Doesn't that look like it hurts!  How is that even considered comfy?
  6. Last photo of the weekend.  Keeley and I on the couch.  Very blurry and not the best photo quality, but still cute regardless!  :)

I will say, I have officially started my Christmas shopping!  My mom, sister and I started shopping at the new outlet malls here and I decided Sunday was a good day to start shopping!  :)  I already have 4 people checked off my list!  You know, there is only 78 days till Christmas and I have only 6 more payrolls to run for the rest of the year (which means there is 12 weeks left in the entire year!!!)

Also, today is my 1 year blogiversary!
I knew that this day was coming soon, but had no idea that today, October 7th was my blogiversary!  :)  How exciting!!

Thanks!! I can't believe it's been a year that I started the blog, I thought for sure I wouldn't make it a year. :) Hope you are doing well!

Oh me too! I hate crowds and dealing with tons of people trying to shop, so I start early! :) We have a Disney Outlet store here now and it is a lifesaver with good prices on things for those younger nieces and nephews.
